Registration for the tour is required. We will need your name, email address and a cell phone number for each individual in the tour group emailed to: acchostour@gmail.com 2. Tour dates can be found by emailing acchostour@gmail.com 3. We must limit the number of people in any given tour. Tours are offered on a first come first served basis for a given date. 4. Tours may be canceled due to unforeseen requirements of the management of Boardwalk Hall or ACCHOS. 5. Visitors must meet the Docent at the security desk in the lobby at the main entrance of Boardwalk Hall at 10 AM on the given date. 6. Visitors will be required to sign in at the security desk and receive wrist id tags. 7. There is a $20 donation for the tour per adult, payable by cash or check at the start of the tour. Children under 12 with their parents are admitted free. 8. Visitors are requested to be on time for the tour. If you experience or anticipate any delays please call the Docent at the number that will be provided with your tour confirmation. 9. The tour will start at the scheduled time of 10 AM. Arrivals after the tour starts and departs from the 5 manual Midmer-Losh console in the lobby area will not be able to ‘catch up’ due to security requirements. 10. The tour will involve a significant amount of walking, stairs, and tight spaces. Please dress comfortably and wear comfortable walking shoes. 11. We suggest that you do not bring any large bags, backpacks, or anything of that nature. 12. Please remember that the organ chambers and some other areas of the Hall that are part of the tour are not handicapped-accessible. 13. We cannot guarantee that all areas of the Hall and organs will be accessible on any given tour day. Hall schedule and maintenance may require that some areas are off limits for safety and security reasons. 14. Photography is encouraged so bring your camera. 15. For your safety during the tour you must stay with your Docent and the tour group. The Hall is extremely large and it is very easy for someone that is not familiar with the Hall to become lost. 16. Parking (for a fee) is available in the garage underneath Boardwalk Hall and at the Casinos or on the street. |
