Atlantic City Convention Hall Organ Society
DEDICATED TO PRESERVING TWO PRICELESS MUSICAL TREASURES
High School Organ
The Atlantic City High School organ is now installed in the home of Adrian Phillips Jr in Phoenix, Arozona. His father, also called Adrian (1898-1990), had a long association with Atlantic City and was heavily involved with the Miss America Pageant and the Convention Hall – the building's ballroom is, in fact, called "The Adrian W. Phillips Ballroom".
A CD recording of the organ in its new home, played by Jelani Eddington, is now available [for details, click here].
For a comprehensive description of the instrument's various incarnations during its time at the High School, click here (opens in a new window).
